Marketing Kachoozie to the Masses

As a new site the importance of getting people on the site to check it out is critical. This is a very word of mouth business. I am not sure what everyone else is doing but I have sent out emails to all the people I know that might even know someone who could potentially use a photograph to get the word out. I have also posted the link on my Facebook and my Linkedin page. If everyone is doing that the network will grow exponentially, which is a win win for all of us who are photographers on Kachoozie.com

Just go to your name and click on it and it will give you , a link with all your work. The more links like this, the higher the page rank of the site will be ( right now it is a 2 on a scale of 1- 10 ) as the page rank increases then Google will send more, and more traffic to the site , so you can see that is a huge factor in getting the word out.

There is one other thing to note, that once you are at the page of your work, if you click on the little RSS button at the bottom of the page , you can get the RSS link, many services like facebook, myspace , etc, allow you to place an RSS feed right on your (insert social network name here) so that is a great way to display all or your works on those services. We have that set up here on the front page, it is the RSS feed and anytime the images are updated it shows all the newest images that were added. If you need help setting that up just PM me and I will be more than happy to help you set that up.-ter

Finally an update of the progress of the site- The designer has run into some delays and we are hoping to have the redesign complete by June 1st , once that is complete we will start to focus on the second phase of the project, and that phase includes things like Search Engine Optimization, along with our API, more to come on the API when it is closer to completion.
